The door (31) has an inner door shell (32), and a bay (33) comprising a fixed glazed assembly (331), in which an opening (332) is defined. A mobile panel (333) is associated to the opening and slidably mounted on two guiding rails (35, 36) that are integrated to the fixed assembly. The panel is moved between a closing position, in which the panel closes the opening, and an opening position, in which the opening is partially released. The rail (36) has a portion (361) located inside the shell. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a door of a motor vehicle.
