The device (1) has an axial intake duct (2) communicated with a resonating chamber (3), where the duct includes two sections (4, 8). The sections are integrated to each other by its enlarged sections (6, 10). The enlarged sections are extended at an axial section (7), and the section (4) is interposed between the axial sections (7) and an axial section (5). The axial sections are under a form of a cylindrical duct. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a noise attenuation device.
