The module (1) has a sealing profile (10) mounted on a frame (2) of a door of a vehicle. An external cover (30) for the frame is assembled on the profile. The cover has a continous/discontinous upper clipping tab (31) terminated by a curved end and clipped by stopping against an upper clipping lip (19) of the profile by elastic deformation of the lip. The lip is provided with a rigid anti-friction covering (19a) on its surface, where the covering is in contact with the tab. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling an external cover of a frame of a door on a sealing profile.
