The method involves transmitting a destination request from a server (3) to an interactive and multimedia computer terminal (2) e.g. personal computer, by a client/user (1) connected to a computer network i.e. Internet. A client module (4) e.g. Java(RTM: object-oriented programming language) applet, is transferred towards the user and is integrated in a web browser network. The module is initialized, and an emulation core in the module is initialized. The application is executed. Packets constituting the application are transmitted from the server to the user, in a unitary manner. An independent claim is also included for a physical device functioning simulation device comprising a computer terminal.
