The present invention relates to an antenna for a mobile telephone apparatus and comprising a set of strands (B1, B2, B3) excited by a radiofrequency signal whose geometry is determined so that the antenna resonates at a first resonance frequency (F1) when said set of strands is traversed by currents from its excitation point (E) to one of its free ends, two strands (B1, B3) of said set of strands being arranged in such a way that they are then traversed by said currents in the same direction and electrically connected to each other by at least one other strand (B2), characterized in that said two strands (B1, B3) are arranged so that they are electromagnetically coupled one to the other when traversed by currents of opposite directions, said antenna further comprises at least one means (C1, C2) for electrically connecting said two strands (B1, B3) so as to form between them te, said antenna then resonating at a second resonant frequency (F2) determined by the geometry of said slot (F).
