The method involves defining a data segment from data content, and associating a meter for remaining authorized readings of a value equal to preset number of authorized readings, to the data segment. The segment is stored in a storage terminal (002). A verification is made that the value of remaining authorized reading meter associated to the data segment is higher than 0. The value of the remaining authorized reading meter is decremented in case of positive verification. The data is transmitted from the content from which the segment is defined, towards a receiving terminal (003). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising a set of program code instructions for executing a method for implementing a data content transmitting method (2) a storage medium storing a set of instructions for implementing a data content transmitting method (3) a deferred system for transmitting a data content from a source device towards a receiver device in a communication network.
