The engine (1) has a rotating camshaft (5) wedged in rotation with respect to a combustion piston (3). A fuel supply secondary pump (9) has a pump piston for varying the variation of a fuel circulation chamber. The pump piston is movable between a compression position in which the chamber presents a reduced volume and a decompression position in which the chamber presents a high volume than the reduced volume. The pump piston is mechanically connected to the rotating camshaft to drive the pump piston in displacement by the camshaft between the positions.
