The fabric (10) has a set of threads (A, B) defining a pillar stitch weave, and extended on a width of a central band (11) and lateral bands (12), where the threads are made of biocompatible polymeric material and the band (11) is made of bioresorbable material. The yarns form different threading on the width of the central and lateral bands, respectively. Partial weft meshing sheets are extended on the width of the bands (11, 12). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of fabricating a prosthetic open-work knit fabric (2) a method of manufacturing a support implant.
