The plate has a flat support element (1) with a plastic covering (2) and a membrane seal closing an agro food product (A), where the element is made of natural material e.g. wood, paper or carton. The covering has a film constituted of an upper layer and a lower layer. The lower layer has a fusion point less high than a fusion point of the upper layer to ensure anchoring of the lower layer in thickness of a material constituting the element (1), during heat application of the film on the element. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a plate.
