The device (10) has two superimposed wind turbine modules (200, 300) respectively comprising rotors that are rotatably mounted around a common vertical axis (O-O) formed by a vertical support mast (100). The modules respectively have stators surrounding the corresponding rotors, where the rotors are counter-rotative. Each stator has a series of vertical directional vanes whose orientation is adapted to rotate the corresponding rotor.
