Clutch controlling device for motor vehicle, has lock for maintaining gear with respect to motor body when coupling unit is in active position, and permitting free rotation of gear with respect to body when unit is in uncoupled position
The device has an actuator (10) with a motor connected to a mobile part of a clutch by a coupling unit (14) for opening and closing the clutch. A locking unit locks the coupling unit in an active position. The coupling unit has a ring gear (18) rotatably mounted on a body of the motor. The locking unit has a lock (20) for fixedly maintaining the gear with respect to the motor body when the coupling unit is in active position. The lock permits free rotation of the gear with respect to the body when the coupling unit is in uncoupled position.
