The implant (11) has an internal element (12) made of resilient material e.g. viscoelastic material, and an external element (13) enclosing the element. A link fixes the implant to a spine of vertebra, and is directly connected to the external element. The link is constituted by tubular longitudinal extensions (13a) of the element (13) forming a body with the element (13). The extension forms the link such that the extensions contract radially towards inside when the extension is subjected to a force along longitudinal direction so as to contract element (13) on element (12). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an implant.
