The biological process for the treatment of wastewater in which organic matters are degraded by bacterial activity, comprises performing an extensive or intensive biological treatment of wastewater slightly or strongly filled with pollution, reposing the little deep water for inherent self-purification on a principle of natural phenomena using a purifier including a lagoon, removing concentrated muds of bacteria from the water on the bottom of lagoon, and filtering the reposed water in a tank emerging above a mud bed through capillary or flat membrane. The biological process for the treatment of wastewater in which organic matters are degraded by bacterial activity, comprises performing an extensive or intensive biological treatment of wastewater slightly or strongly filled with pollution, reposing the little deep water for inherent self-purification on a principle of natural phenomena using a purifier including a lagoon, removing concentrated muds of bacteria from the water on the bottom of lagoon, and filtering the reposed water in a tank emerging above a mud bed through capillary or flat membrane. The water in the purifier is aerated by injecting an airflow using a device provided in the tank. The membrane is subjected to upward gas flow to limit their sealing. The gas flow combines to a function of oxygenation of water, a function for circulating water in the lagoon and a function for sealing the capillary membrane. The intensive biological treatment of wastewater is carried out using bacterium culture for reducing the content of pollution present in the water. An independent claim is included for a lagoonal purifier.
