The spring (21) has an upper part partially coated with a gelled polymer matrix (22) containing lubricating oil, and a succession of S including parallel and straight central portions which are co-operated with radial grooves (11, 13). The grooves are arranged in lever bosses (3, 5) of a metallic flexible coupling device (1) for rotatably driving a co-axial driven element (4) by a co-axial drive element (2). The matrix is made of monomers whose valency is higher than or equal to 3 for permitting cross linking of polymers. An overlapped junction zone (10) is provided between the bosses.
