The outlet (10) has gripping wings (21, 22) tiltably mounted on an electrically insulating body between gripping and safety positions. The wings are extended parallel to axes of connection pins (15, 16) in the gripping position for being gripped between two fingers to permit plugging-in or removal of the outlet. The wings are folded perpendicular to the axes in the safety position to close a cavity of a female outlet (1) when the outlet (10) is plugged into the outlet (1), or to avoid access to a ground terminal of the outlet (1) when the outlet (1) does not have the cavity.
