The console (1) has a driver anti-dazzle screen (3a) and a passenger anti-dazzle screen (3b), where the screens (3a, 3b) are displaced from a non-usage position to a deployed position. The screens are stored in a superposed manner, and extend partly on width of a windscreen (2) in the two respective positions, where the console is symmetrically arranged against the windscreen with respect to a longitudinal median plane of the vehicle. The screens (3a, 3b) are moved between the two positions by pivoting respective axles (5a, 5b) at the screens (3a, 3b).
