A ring (53) is inserted in a groove (53a) which is inscribed in a plane (P) that is inclined with respect to the plane end of the piston. The groove houses the ring which is placed closest to the combustion chamber. A part of the piston determined by the inclined groove and the plane end possess variable height on its circumference, and a foot of a connecting rod is pivoted around a piston axis (57).
