The automaton (A) has a thermal control unit (6) and a mixing register (3) controlled by a control (7) of an air processing centre according to thermal comfort criterion. The automaton is sensible to air quality parameters e.g. carbon dioxide quantity measurements (8a-8c) or humidity measurements executed in exhaust air (A.Ev). The automaton controls opening of the register according to the parameters while maintaining management of the thermal comfort, where the register mixes fresh air (A.N) with recirculated air from the exhaust air, in priority according to quality of the exhaust air. The carbon dioxide quantity measurements are obtained on the fresh air, the exhaust air and the exit air of the thermal control unit, respectively.
