The circuit has an inductor (7) constituted of ballast and mounted on one of terminals of a domestic power supply sector (1). The inductor is connected in series to a voltage rectifier bridge (8). A branch (3) of LEDs (4) is mounted in parallel on terminals (9, 10) of the rectifier bridge, and comprises a balance resistor mounted in series with the LEDs. A transformer is placed between the inductor and bridge rectifier.
