Optical measuring device for finding the position of the pupil of the eye

An optical measuring device includes a main cylindrical tube 1 with an end cap 5 which fits into the main tube. A target (Figure 8) is viewed through the central holes 3 (9) of the complete optical measuring device. When the target is centralised through the holes 3 (9) the adhesive pad 6 is adhered to the spectacle lens (10) and the main tube 1 is detached so that the end caps 5 remain and show the position of the pupil through the lens.
