PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by facilitating adjustment of distance between side protectors and a hoistway wall, and to cope with various distances between a rail and the hoistway wall with one type side protector.;SOLUTION: The side protector 13 can be obliquely adjusted and fixed corresponding to the distance between the guide rail and the hoistway wall by opening a round hole 131 and an elongated hole 132 at a rail attachment part of the side protector. Even when the side protector 13 is obliquely attached, the round top end of the protector prevents the protector from being caught by cables. Accordingly, the side protector 13 can be obliquely fixed, and the distance between the side protector 13 and the hoistway wall can be adjusted more easily, resulting in improvement of work efficiency. Besides, it is possible to cope with various distances between the rail and the hoistway wall with one type side protector, thus reducing manufacturing types.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
