PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive an offset with less error over medium-to-long term, while hastening offset updating under conditions where offset is set as an initial value and operating environment changes significantly.;SOLUTION: The magnetic data processor includes a magnetic data inputting means inputting magnetic data output from a magnetic sensor sequentially, an accumulating means accumulating a plurality of the magnetic data as population data group to update offset of the magnetic data, and an offset updating means in which a distribution index indicating extent of distribution of the population data group is derived and, when the distribution index is within a predetermined range, using a weighting coefficient which is a function of linear combination of a first offset derived with the population data group and the offset before updating to decrease monotonically for updating frequency, the offset is updated to linear combination the first offset is weighted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
