PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition for oral administration for treating malignant tumor developed in the digestive tract which includes acetyl fucoidan as an active ingredient.;SOLUTION: Acetyl fucoidan manufactured using Cladosiphon okamuranus TOKIDA as a raw material is dissolved in water and orally administered, thereby in a mouse in which a colon 26 cell which is a cell line of a mouse colon cancer origin is transplanted the intestines to develop the colon cancer, the weight loss and expansion of weight of malignant tumor is made to be significantly (P=0.05) reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
