PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment which enables control of a newly-introduced inverter control type air-conditioner by using an existing general-purpose thermostat so as to efficiently perform realization of comfortable air-conditioning environment.;SOLUTION: An intermediary device 40 for air conditioning accepts input of set temperature to air conditioners 10, 20a-20d and is connected to an air-conditioning interface 30 for producing a first signal for demanding operation or non-operation to a heat source of the air conditioners. The intermediary device includes a signal accepting part 45a for accepting the first signal input by the air-conditioning interface, a room temperature obtaining part 43 for obtaining room temperature, a set temperature estimating part 45b for calculating an estimated value of the set temperature of the air-conditioning interface based on the first signal accepted by the signal accepting part and the room temperature obtained by the room temperature obtaining part, and an estimated value transmitting part 45c for transmitting the estimated value to the air conditioners.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
