APPARATUS EXPRESSING SHAKE OF STRUCTURE CAUSED BY EARTHQUAKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus expressing the shake of a structure caused by an earthquake enabling ordinary people to have interest by feeling the intensity of the given shake and viewing the shake of the structure.;SOLUTION: A movable stage 12 is horizontally moved on a fixed base 11 by operating a knob 17 to make the side face part 16a of a lever 16 collide with a stopper 18, and the energy is transmitted to the structures 14 and 15 through the movable stage 12, so that the structures 14 and 15 are made to shake. Two structures 14 and 15 are prepared and each of them includes a leaf spring 20 integrally attached with a mass 19. One of the two structures is incorporated with a vibration control device 25 and the other is incorporated with a vibration resisting device 26, and the difference in shake can be compared between the vibration control device and the vibration resisting device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
