PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a light weight of a heat exchanger used for a gas hydrate producing apparatus, and to prevent adhesion of a gas hydrate onto the internal wall of a heat transfer pipe of the heat exchanger.;SOLUTION: A liquid cooling device for the gas hydrate producing apparatus for cooling down the liquid phase in a reaction producing part comprises a circulation line for taking out a liquid from the reaction producing part and returning the same thereto, and a heat exchanger provided in the circulation line. The heat exchanger comprises a cylindrical first shell, a cylindrical second shell to be paired with the first shell with a diameter larger than that of the first shell so as to provide a double pipe shell having a space part therebetween, a plurality of heat transfer pipes mounted on a cylindrical part of the first shell so as to penetrate the cylindrical part of the first shell from one side outer surface to the other side outer surface in a state with both end parts opened to the space part, and a space partition part for separating a first space region part with the liquid inlet side of the heat transfer pipes opened to the space part and a second space region part with the liquid outlet side of the heat transfer pipes opened to the space part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
