PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid card settlement system that allows a purchased article to be received any time when an article is purchased at a shopping site.;SOLUTION: The proposed prepaid card settlement system includes a management device having a storage section where information on a prepaid card is stored and a plurality of terminals disposed at delivery destinations of a plurality of articles. When delivering an article to a user, the management device that receives a notification of a settlement request searches the storage section using a delivery ID contained in the notification as a key, calculates the number of days up to the present date from the delivery date corresponding to the found delivery ID, and calculates a storage fee of the article based on the calculated number of days. The management device then searches the storage section using a prepaid ID corresponding to the found delivery ID as a key, and deducts the calculated storage fee from the balance of the prepaid amount corresponding to the found prepaid ID.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
