METHOD OF IDENTIFYING FOREIGN MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of identifying foreign matters mixed in the inside of a raw-material resin for molding and a resin molded product, or adhering to their surfaces as foreign matter which is derived from tissue from a living body.;SOLUTION: In the method of identifying foreign matters mixed in the inside of a raw-material resin for molding and a resin-molded product or adhering to their surfaces as to whether it is derived from tissues from a living body, oxygen, sulfur, sodium, potassium, and chlorine are detected by elementary analysis on the foreign matters, of which the highest absorption peak (A) is observed within a wave-number range between 1,700-1,600 cm^-1 and of which the highest absorption peak (B) next to the peak (A) is observed within a wave-number range of 1,600-1,500 cm^-1 within a wave-number range of 3,000-650 cm^-1 of an infrared absorption spectrum which is acquired when microscopic infrared absorption spectroscopy is performed on the foreign matters by a transmission method or a reflection method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
