PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether cisplatin administration is therapeutically effective or not.;SOLUTION: The effect of administration of cisplatin is decided by measuring expression of one or more genes selected from the gene group consisting of AKR1C1 (aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C1) gene, AKR1C2 gene, AKR1C3 gene, AKR1C4, AKR1B10, ALDH3A1 (aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family member A1) gene, CA2 (carbonic anhydrase II) gene, CRAT (carnitine acetyltransferase) gene, CRIP2 (Cysteine-rich protein 2) gene, HTRA3 (HtrA serine peptidase 3) gene, MYADM (myeloid-associated differentiation marker) gene, and PPP1R14C (protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 14C) gene, of biological samples collected from diagnostic subjects, based on the expression amounts of genes obtained from the measurements.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
