RELEASE AGENT FOR DIE-CASTING DIE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING RELEASE AGENT FOR DIE-CASTING DIE, AND DIE-CASTING MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release agent for a die-casting die with a simple constitution, which can be easily managed, can be uniformly applied to a die-casting die, does not remain and deposit on a die-casting die, and can mold a satisfactory die-casting product, and to provide a method for producing a release agent or a die-casting die.;SOLUTION: Starch as a binder is added to water of 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% to the whole, and stirring is performed at a stirring temperature of 10 to 40°C at a stirring rate of 100 to 500 rpm for ≥1 min. Thereafter, release agent grains with a grain size of 1 to 10 μm are added by 5 to 20 wt.% to the whole of the release agent R. Further, stirring is performed for ≥1 min, its viscosity is regulated to 10 to 500 mPa/s, and further, its pH is regulated to 6 to 8, so as to produce a release agent R.
