PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new matter for chromatographic separation. PSOLUTION: Porous inorganic-organic hybrid monolithic matter has such a porous shape as to accelerate chromatography. Pores, having a diameter of approximately 34 Å or smaller, constitute approximately 110 mSP2/SP/g to approximately 50 mSP2/SP/g of the specific surface area of the matter. The porous inorganic-organic hybrid monolithic matter contains connected porous inorganic-organic hybrid particles, having a porous shape that would accelerate chromatography.
