PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing liquid for a planographic printing plate, and a platemaking method of a planographic printing plate, in which the developing liquid can be developed within an acidic to neutral range and solving a problem of a developing property upon developing, and a problem of process unevenness caused by an eluted component from a photosensitive material.;SOLUTION: The developing liquid for the planographic printing plate contains an amphoteric surfactant expressed by a formula (I), a water-soluble polymer compound, and furthermore, p-hydroxybenzoic acid ester, and has a pH of 2 to 8. The platemaking method for the planographic printing plate is carried out by using the above liquid. In the formula (I), R1 and R2 independently represent H or an alkyl group, respectively, R3 represents an alkyl group or a group having an ethylene oxide, and A represents a group containing a carboxylic acid anion, a sulfonic acid anion or a phosphonic acid anion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
