PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from overlooking of a desired scene.;SOLUTION: When a viewing mode with a caption list is selected, a display portion 21 displays a video image on a video image region, and displays a caption sentence on a caption region. In addition, the display portion 21 displays the caption sentence centering at a caption list on a caption list region. If a search word is contained in the displayed caption sentence, the display portion 21 notifies it to a user, by changing a color of the caption sentence displayed on the caption region and the caption list region and a background color so that they may become different from the surrounding color.
