PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in learning that: calculation by writing or approximate calculation cannot sufficiently train memory holding power and power to remember, and memory holding power and power to remember cannot sufficiently be trained by today's convenient technology such as a calculator.;SOLUTION: A program is provided wherein a computer is made to function as a means to measure and intensify learner's memory function through following processes: a problem having such number of digits that does not totally defy mental arithmetic for calculating an answer is displayed on a display for just a moment, that is, a learner is requested to obtain the answer by mental arithmetic after it is made impossible for the learner to refer to the problem thereafter; with reference to the learner's answer input from a keyboard, a computer is made to measure the time required for the mental arithmetic and determine whether the answer is correct or incorrect, and the result is displayed on the display as graphs or in figures after being colored in accordance with whether the answer is correct or incorrect; then, the similar process such as presenting the next problem is continued.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
