PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license requesting method, a license requesting server and a license requesting program for efficiently making a request for license for content irrespective of copyright holder information.;SOLUTION: When a new translation request is received, if a track back URL to a target article to be translated is automatically found (S117: YES) or specified by the translation requester's input (S121: YES), a license request page with a request for license for the target article described therein is created (S123) and a track back ping that is a notification including a URL to the license request page is sent to the track back URL to the target article (S124).
