PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capturing carrier that readily carries out the operation of capturing and testing air-borne microorganisms floating, in a short time, a capturing unit, a capturing apparatus and a capturing-testing method.;SOLUTION: The capturing carrier 14 includes a polymer which is in a gel phase at capturing biological cells but undergoes a phase transition, under heating, into a sol phase at the temperature at or less than 40°C. A test reagent is contained in the polymer, eluted upon phase transition from a gel phase into a sol phase. The capturing carrier 14 is attached to a vessel 16. The capturing apparatus 10 includes a heating means for heating the capturing carrier 14 up to a phase transition temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
