PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope loose state detection device for a wire rope sluice gate capable of detecting the degree of looseness of a wire rope.;SOLUTION: This wire rope loose state detection device comprises a loose detector 26 for the wire rope 14 suspending a door body; a landing detector 22 capable of detecting the state of landing of the door body; a time measurer 27 receiving detection signals from both detectors and obtaining a detection delay time which is the difference between both detected times; and a loose state determination section 28 which obtains the initial delay time difference which is the difference between the detection delay time and a preset initial delay time and the previous delay time difference which is the difference between the detection delay time and a previously measured detection delay time, which determines whether these time differences are within a preset allowable time interval or not, and which compares these time differences with an adjustment value (time value) set within an alarm zone beyond the allowable time interval if these time differences do not come within the allowable time interval to determine whether the device is normal or not, requires checking or not, or requires adjustment or not.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
