PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently controlling the generation of oscillation in a vertical roller mill.;SOLUTION: The method or the system for controlling the vertical roller mill measures the particle distribution of a crushed object fed into the vertical roller mill at a real time, generates a signal if the particle distribution exceeds a predetermined threshold value, and operates the vertical roller mill based on the signal is provided.
