PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a deep hole in a concrete structure which enables formation of a deep hole of a small diameter of 25 mm and a depth at least ten times the diameter of the hole without separation of the drilling and the cleaning work and allows reliable inspection and repair of any crack within the hole. PSOLUTION: The method of forming a deep hole comprises: the first step S1 of fixing a base 11 of a deep hole drilling machine 100 to the working surface 10; the second step S2 of supporting the shaft of a drilling tool attached to a tool rotation driving mechanism moving along the supporting column of the deep hole drilling machine, in a freely rotatable way in the vicinity of the working surface; the third step S3 of supplying cooling water to the tip of the drilling tool; the fourth step S4 of sucking the cooling water and suspended water containing ground concrete powder from a liquid reservoir surrounding the hole in the working surface and discharging the cooling and the suspension water, during forming a deep hole with the drilling tool; and the fifth step S5 of forming a deep hole corresponding to the length of the shaft while filtrating the discharged suspension water to circulate for supply as the cooling water.
