PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof reinforcing method for improving the strength of a roof by carrying out only small-scale work without requiring the large-scale repair or shut-down of operation, and to provide a roof reinforcing structure, a roof reinforcing member, and an installation fixing bracket.;SOLUTION: The roof reinforcing method is provided for reinforcing a roof structure constructed by fixing a corrugated tight frame which is long in a lengthwise direction to an upper surface of a purlin bearing the roof of a building, mounting a corrugated roof material on the tight frame in a manner making corrugations of the tight frame and the roof material match each other, and fixing the former and the latter to each other. The method is implemented by using a reinforcing member including trough members housed in troughs of the roof material, ridge members mounted on ridges of the roof material, and slope members fixed to an interval between both the members in one body or separately. Then these members are fixed to each other and formed into the corrugated reinforcing members matching the corrugations of the roof material as a whole. Further the reinforcing member is mounted on the roof material by making the corrugations match each other, and the ridge members are fixed to the ridges of the roof material, and rigidly mount a reinforcing metal plate to the ridge members of the reinforcing member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
