PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven or knitted fabric which uses fibers increasing a crimp percent, when absorbing moisture, and decreases air permeability, when absorbing moisture, and to provide a fiber product using the woven or knitted fabric. PSOLUTION: The woven or knitted fabric which decreases the air permeability, when absorbing moisture, is characterized by containing crimped fibers A simultaneously satisfying the following requirements (1) and (2). (1) The crimped fibers A are conjugated fibers in which a polyester component and a polyamide component are joined in a side-by-side type. (2) A difference (HC-DC) between the crimp percent HC of the crimped fibers A, when absorbing moisture, and the crimp percent DC of the crimped fibers A, when dried, is 0.5%.
