PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas temperature adjusting device capable of lowering a temperature and an oxygen concentration of exhaust gas received by an HRSG system from a gas turbine, and to simultaneously execute HRSG purge and gas turbine combustion by using an exhaust gas flow of which the temperature is adjusted.;SOLUTION: An exhaust gas temperature adjusting device 14 in an illustrated embodiment is provided. The exhaust gas temperature adjusting device 14 includes a conduit 20 in fluid communication with a gas turbine 12. The conduit 20 is configured to receive exhaust gas from the gas turbine 12 and has one or more apertures 22 extending therethrough. The exhaust gas temperature adjusting device 14 further includes one or more atomizing nozzles 24 extending through the apertures 22 of the conduit 20. The atomizing nozzle 24 is configured to inject liquid through the aperture 22 into the conduit 20, so that the liquid evaporates and decreases a temperature and an oxygen concentration of the exhaust gas in the conduit 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
