PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having sufficiently extended service life even in high speed rotation where a dmn value is 1,400,000 or more and a corrosive environment in which a lubricant cannot be used.;SOLUTION: A ball 3 is manufactured by a ball milling processing for putting ceramic spherical bodies in a mill pot of a planetary ball mill and operating the planetary ball mill, and colliding the spherical bodies with each other and with an inner wall of the mill pot for introducing residual stress on the surfaces of the spherical bodies by applying centrifugal force accompanying revolution and centrifugal force accompanying rotation generated inside the mill pot to the spherical bodies.
