PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously and easily read data on bar codes, measure and determine the temperature or the like of an object.;SOLUTION: This bar code reader with a built-in sensor for temperature or the like has: a bar code reading means for reading the bar codes attached to an article etc.; a temperature measurement means for measuring temperature etc. of the article whose temperature is to be measured, and setting the data read by the measurement means as temperature information when the bar code reading means succeeds in reading the bar codes; and an information processing means for storing or transferring the temperature information obtained by the temperature measurement means and information obtained by the bar code reading means in association with each other, and simultaneously and precisely measures article data and temperature data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
