PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermal-insulation polylactic acid fiber structural form not only having excellent thermal-insulation property but also being such that the polylactic acid fiber in the structural form has high mechanical strength, to provide the thermal-insulation polylactic acid fiber structural form obtained by the above method, and to provide a textile product using the thermal-insulation polylactic acid fiber structural form.;SOLUTION: The thermal-insulation polylactic acid fiber structural form is provided, which is obtained by applying an infrared ray absorber onto a polylactic acid fiber structural form comprising polylactic acid fibers made from a polylactic acid composition comprising (i) poly L-lactic acid (A-component), (ii) poly D-lactic acid (B-component), and (iii) 0.05-5 pts.wt. of a specific phosphoric ester metal salt (C-component), based on a total of 100 pts.wt. of the A-component and the B-component.
