PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for rapidly decreasing a uric acid level in blood of a subject useful for treating gout and/or alleviating symptoms related to a high uric acid level in blood that contains anserine in an amount of more than 50 mg up to about 600 mg.;SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition for rapidly decreasing a uric acid level in blood of a subject contains anserine in an amount of more than 50 mg up to about 600 mg.
