PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clogging chip removing method for removing chips clogging in a tool or a main shaft without stopping rotation of the main shaft, and to provide a clogging chip removing device for use in the method.;SOLUTION: According to the clogging chip removing method, by locating an opening section 301 of a compressed air cover 300 toward a main body 101a, the tool 10 or part of the hollow main shaft 110 of a milling machine 100 is located in an internal space porion. In this state, compressed air at a predetermined pressure is fed from a compressed air feeding device through an air inflow port 304 into the internal space portion 302, and the clogging chips 400 are pressed out toward the hollow main shaft 110, and removed with assistance of suction removal of the chips.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
