PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate whether an ink contains an amphoteric metal oxide or not and whether an ink used for printing printed matter contains an amphoteric metal oxide or not by simpler methods respectively.;SOLUTION: The methods comprise the following process: An acidic or alkaline aqueous solution is applied to an inkjet printing ink or onto the printed part of printed matter printed therewith and the pH change of the ink or the printed part is observed, thus discriminating whether the ink contains an amphoteric metal oxide or not or whether the printed matter is printed with such an ink.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
