PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction preventive mechanism of a line collecting device with an anti-theft function accurately detecting theft of an information communication terminal connected to the line collecting device, and also to provide the line collecting device, and an anti-theft system.;SOLUTION: The mechanism includes: a plug 21 provided for a LAN cable 20 including signal lines for monitoring 104, 105 that are unused signal lines and separately and independently applied with voltages for monitoring; and a plug cover 60 attached to the plug 21, wherein the plug 21 is provided with a short-circuiting member 50 to short-circuit between the signal lines 104, 105, and the plug cover 60 is provided with a short-circuiting part 62 maintaining the short circuit between the signal lines 104, 105.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
