PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhanging construction method and an overhanging construction structure for a bridge in which the tension of the bridge does not exceed the tensile limit of an installed rubber shoe even when the overhang length of the bridge is large or a cable is not allowed to use.;SOLUTION: When the bridge 5 is constructed while overhanging between abutments 2, 3 or piers 4, a temporary rubber shoe 8 with a coefficient of compression spring smaller than the coefficient of compression spring of the installed rubber shoe 7 is preliminarily installed on the upper part of the installed rubber shoe 7 installed on the upper part of the abutments 2, 3 or the piers 4. The bridge 5 is constructed while overhanging with the bridge 5 supported on the temporarily installed rubber shoe 8. The temporarily installed rubber shoe 8 is removed by jacking up the bridge 5, and the bridge 5 is installed on the installed rubber shoe 7 by jacking down.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
